Ah, the classic writer’s brain. We can extend an analogy to frightening proportions, can’t we?

Write a couple of dozen short stories and try to get those published. By the time you’re ready to send out your first novel, and racked 100+ rejections on the short stories, it’ll be just another visit to the post office.

Unless that’s a really short novel, you’re have to go to the post office to send it off. The post office removed all the blue and green boxes in my area after 9/11. Of course, I live next to a college. Don’t know how many subversive (writer) types live in the neighborhood. :)

LOVE your comics! Might someone put one on his/her blog if credit is given to the author/illustrator? ;)

    Melody: We sure can. :-)

C.D. Reimer: Good point about having to go to the post office! Didn’t even think of that.

Angie: Thanks and sure! Feel free to post the occasional strip if you include a credit.

Hey, I love your comics! I was reading them last year during NaNo when they talked about you on the site and I just rediscovered them. Love your work.

    That is so true. :)

I’m having a hard time submitting mine in for the same reason. So I keep editing it constantly. Guh!

I found your comics through NaNoWriMo and I have to say I love them. I just went through all of them here, procrastinating work I need to do to read them. They’re fantastic! I adore the characters, they’re so relatable!
