Run, Eva, Run! That cute wee Twitterbird starts out so harmlessly … then, before you know it, has grown talons like you wouldn’t believe!

I’ve gotten some GREAT leads and information on Twitter, though. It’s the first time I’ve really felt connected to the Writing World out there.

Regarding your 500 and 1,000 words a day challenge, can I include how many words I’ve cut if I’m editing? Just a thought …

I’m on Twitter periodically. I think I’m at the point where I’m wondering whether it’s useful (or even applicable) for my writing projects. So, far freelancing has been good and mainly my projects have been through referrals. And not so much with anything I’ve been doing online (i.e. Twitter, blog etc).

Twitter isn’t a distraction for me. I use twitter to record my work for the day by announcing I got this chapter done, this 15-page edit of novella is completed, and some idiot is outside is playing the music too loud from the parking lot.

I got my 700-page double-spaced rough draft of my first novel done after one year and one week of writing a little bit every day, burning through a six-week time reserve and being only a week late. Next challenge after a three-month break is to edit the next draft in three months. Of course, I’ll be writing my 400-page second novel during the three-month break.
